Members and Friends,
Summer
is moving to fast for me, it’s half over before I knew it began.
I have a few new items to touch on this letter.
As you may have seen
on the course we are starting to loose some trees. We are trying
to replace as many as budget allows. But I remember playing a couple
of courses that had a lot of trees planted in memory of someone
or donated by someone with a marker to acknowledge their gift to
the club. So if anyone would like to plant a tree in memory or as
a recognized gift, fill free to talk to Shawn or Frenchie to make
arrangements.
The club champion
ship will be soon and I hope we have a good turn out. The entry
fee was included in your dues. I also plan to have food for the
players both days or until it runs out. I think there should be
enough as long as Shawn and I don’t eat too much. Tee times will
be as drawn and not changed with only exceptions made for work schedules
unable to be changed or if an emergency occurs.
Now to the topic we
hate to bring up. We continue to loose items from the course. Cart
keys, range buckets, coolers, range balls and of course inventory.
This all adds up to be a big expense each year. If you have borrowed
something as a key or balls thinking it helps the course if they
don’t have to bother with me when their busy I understand. But it
actually hurts us when we run out and then order more several times
a year. So if this is the case, please return any items in order
to help us out with full understanding of the thought behind this
or the mistake of finding something you forgot to drop off as a
key or what ever it may be. This is all being addressed to keep
cost down for all of us. Thank you so much.
Now on the other hand
if anyone is caught stealing or damaging any Auglaize property.
This will result in loss of any privileges at Auglaize Golf Club
LLC perminatly.
