Summer is just about over but hopefully we will be able to get some
good play in before the snow flies. I hope everyone enjoyed their
time spent at Auglaize. I think things
went well for the most part. I’m going to try to do a better job
with communication on tournaments and play. Many tournament organizers
say or think they’ll have 20 teams and when it comes two or three
days before the outing and only have 15 or less. I try to keep the
course open for member play but sometimes I don’t know until a day
before what is happening. So I’ll work on that..
Any money on accounts must be spent by December 10th or will be
lost. All debits must be cleared up ASAP so we can close our books
out for the year. We will be looking at doing some improvements
once the yr. has ended. Maybe some trees, new mulching and more
work on the pond we hope.
The owners, Shawn and I want to thank those who keep the carts where
they belong and not around greens and tees. I believe we can see
a difference in the growth of the grass.
My door is always open and I encourage ideas of how I can improve
Auglaize Golf Club.
